  5. Identify appropriate and patient specific antihypertensive agents for the treatment of hypertension based on age, gender, and comorbid diseases.
  6. Describe recommended drug therapy for patients with hypertension with and without compelling indications.
  7. Recommend appropriate combination drug therapy for the treatment of hypertension.
  8. Describe risks of certain combination antihypertensive drug therapies.
  9. Define resistant hypertension and recommend appropriate treatment options.
