Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this program, the participant will be able to:
1. Summarize recommendations from clinical practice guidelines regarding diabetes. 2. Discuss clinical evidence and place in thera- py for oral diabetes and GLP-1 agonist agents. 3. Discuss the growing evidence and role of SGLT2 inhibitors and DPP-4 inhibitors within diabetes and non-diabetes patients. 4. Analyze role of bariatric surgery in management of morbid obesity and diabetes. 5. Describe complications and medication-related changed post-bariatric surgery. 6. Evaluate and develop medication regimens post- bariatric surgery through case studies
