At the conclusion of this program, the participant will be able to:
Review of Drugs used in Weight Loss  :
 1. Review glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists. 2. List differences between GLP-1 and dual glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist.. 3. Analyze melanocortin 4 (MC4) receptor agonists. 4. Describe effects of fat blockers. 5. Review amphetamine like drugs and their side effect profile. 6. List other weight loss and diabetes/weight loss drugs. Adrenal Stress and Weight Gain or weight loss : 7. Review the biochemical pathways of the adrenal glands. 8. Describe how acute stress may cause weight loss and chronic stress may lead to diabetes and weight gain. 9. List integrative medicine techniques to reduce stress.  10. Discuss the role of the adrenal glands in blood sugar regulation. Supplements Role in Blood Sugar Regulation and Weight :  11. Discuss the role of vitamins and minerals in blood sugar regulation and weight management. 12. List foods that may help with blood sugar management and weight loss. 13. Explain the role of fatty acids in inflammation and weight management.  Bringing Medications, Supplements, Nutrition and Coaching Together : 14. Describe how to select the correct medication for patients for diabetes and weight loss management. 15. Review how important digestion and microbiome is to weight and blood sugar management and what to do about them. 16. List integrative strategies that can be used for weight loss and diabetes management programs.
