This seminar provides 15 contact hours of live pharmacy ACPE accredited CE and AAFP/ AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™, ANCC, NCC and AANP pharmacotherapeutics/ pharmacology CE/CME credit over three days, 5 hours per day.
  • Pharmacists: 15 hours of live ACPE credit
  • Nurse Practitioners ANCC and NCC: 15 hours of ANCC pharmacology credit.
  • Nurse Practitioners AANP: 15 hours of AAFP Prescribed credit/AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™, 15 hours of pharmacology credit.
  • Physicians and Physician Assistants: 15 hours of AAFP Prescribed credit/AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™
  • Nurses: 15 hours California Board of Registered Nursing and Pharmacology Credit.

PHYSICIANS

  • The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) has reviewed Current Topics in Healthcare Copy and deemed it acceptable for up to To be announced Live AAFP Prescribed credit(s). Term of Approval is from September 23, 2027 to September 25, 2027 Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

  • AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s) toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the 

  • American Osteopathic Association (AOA).‍ ‍ Continuing medical education (CME) activities approved for American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) credit are recognized by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) as equivalent to AOA Category 2 credit.

  • CANADIAN PHARMACISTS:Canadian Council on Continuing Education in Pharmacy (CCCEP)accepts courses accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). 

  • CANADIAN PHYSICIANS: Members of the College of Family Physicians of Canada are eligible to receive up to To be announced MAINPRO-M1 credits for participation in this activity due to reciprocal agreement with the American Academy of Family Physicians

  • Other healthcare professionals should confirm acceptance and reporting requirements with their licensing or certification board

Requirements and reporting

  • University Learning Systems reports pharmacy credit through CPE Monitor using the participant’s eNABPID number and date of birth.
  • University Learning Systems is approved by CE Broker, for pharmacy, medicine and nursing for participating states,  Tracking #50-11357. Participant's state license number is required for reporting.
  • Credit is based on completed evaluations for registered sessions. 
  • Credit is awarded per session; partial session credit is not available, and breaks are excluded.
  • Other eligible participants receive an applicable statement of credit after completing the required documentation.

About the Hotel

Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino is a legendary hotel and casino located at 3000 Paradise Road, just one block off the Las Vegas Strip and adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Opened: Originally opened in 1969 as the International Hotel, later famous as the Las Vegas Hilton before becoming Westgate Las Vegas in 2014.

About the Area
